SUMMARY:BASP Emergency First Aid Training
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our popular two-day emergency first aid courses to learn how to handle emergencies and casualties when leading or participating in outdoor expeditions. \nThe course runs from 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday\, providing participants with as much practical knowledge and experience as possible through a combination of indoor and outdoor practical sessions. Friday night accommodation is available to make the most of the weekend. \nThe course covers emergency procedures; unconsciousness and recovery position; CPR; bleeding; fractures; burns; hypothermia and heatstroke; medical issues; and outdoor activity risks\, such as tick bites. \nThe course is suitable for outdoor workers\, instructors and enthusiasts.
