DESCRIPTION:ScotJam\nJoin us in 2025 to celebrate Scouting and get outdoors. \n\n2025 sees the return of our Cub\, Scout\, and Explorer events. Each week-long residential is packed with outdoor adventures\, evening entertainment\, and chances to earn badges and awards. Accommodation is fully catered and indoors\, ensuring a comfortable stay for all. \n2025 will see the first ever ScotJam: Beavers! We’re going to give Beavers the ScotJam experience in one weekend. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy creating special childhood memories with your Cub Scout\, and take part in our popular Parent and Cub Camp at Scout Adventures Meggernie this May. \nWould you like to re-live your own memories of Scouting or find out more about why your child loves being a Cub? The Parent and Cub camp is a great opportunity to have fun\, get outdoors and enjoy spending quality family time together. \nYou’ll get to experience loads of fun outdoor activities in a stunning rural setting\, away from tablets\, mobile phone notifications and screens! \nYour stay will be supported by a friendly staff team\, who will make you feel welcome\, included and can help with any camping questions. \nWhat should I bring?\nThe weekend is fully catered so participants just need to turn up with their camping kit and a two-person tent for sleeping under the stars. \nPVG disclosure\nPlease note that any adults attending the camp need to have had an enhanced disclosure secured by the Scout Association in the form of membership of the PVG Scheme\, and this can take up to six weeks to clear so please apply soon! \nHow do I book?\nBooking is easy! Just fill in the form below and then send to the team. \nThe cost of the event is £115 per pair. Upon booking you’ll be asked to pay a £60 deposit (per pair). \n\nParent and Cub camp application form\n\nYour group leader will need to sign a booking form regarding your PVG. This process can take at least six weeks. If you’re looking to complete your residential element of your Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award\, we’re offering a packed five-day experience in Fife\, exploring and learning about the diverse outdoor environment a stone’s throw from Scotland’s capital. \nDuring your week you’ll be exploring the coastal path of Fife through activities and projects from Fife Coast and Countryside Trust. SUMMARY:Survival Skills @ Meggernie
DESCRIPTION:This camp is a chance for Scouts to channel their inner Bear Grylls and learn all the skills they’ll need to look after themself in the outdoors\, and do all of this with Scouts from all over Scotland. \nThe weekend is jam-packed full of skills building and fun. Young people can look forward to: \n\n\n Learning loads of new skills and gaining the Scout Survival Skills Activity Badge\nSpending one night in a shelter they’ll build themselves\, and the other in a tent provided and built by Meggernie staff\nCooking some of their own meals outdoors\n\nPreferably each young person will have had 1 night under canvas already. \n\nCosts and booking information\nThe camp will cost £53 per Scout. DESCRIPTION:Our Wild Adventure Days are back this Autumn! \nJoin us for our Wild Adventure Days which are available for all children from P1 – P7 (5 -12)\, whether your child is already a member of Scouts or not. \nBased on adventure\, fun & challenge\, our Wild Adventure days take place at our Scout Adventure Fordell Firs activity centre\, located on the outskirts of Dunfermline\, just five minutes from the new Queensferry crossing. \nWild Adventure Days Schedule\nMonday 14th October – Friday 18th October (weekdays only) \nDrop off between 9:00am – 9:30am / Pick up between 4pm – 4:30pm  \nWho can come?\nOpen to all children Scouts and non-Scouts \nIf your child has any additional needs it is important that you call the centre to chat these through in more detail.
