The Active Support unit supports all sections of the 41st Scout Group. It draws support mainly from previous members of the Group, their spouses, families and friends.
They meet in the Dolphin Lounge, Rosyth (Goth) Hotel.

Beavers meet in the Activity Hall, other sections meet where activities allow. The Group have access to the Richmond Chalet.

The Inch Scout Active Support, formally the Scout Fellowship, was formed in 1985, with the purpose of providing support to uniformed leaders in the Scout and Guide Movements, within Rosyth District. The title "Inch" was derived from the fact that all of the Scout Groups within the District, embrace the Forth estuary, with its islands of Inchkeith, Inchcolm, Inchgarvie and Inckmickery, thus the word "Inch" is synonymous with all in the District.
Membership currently stands around 30, but they are always looking for new members.
No invitation is required.
You do not need any experience as a Scout or Guide.
It is open to anyone interested and willing to help the leaders in some small but essential way.
It is not all work, we do have a social calendar as well. i.e. skittles, dinners, BBQs, trips away.
Example of events - fund raising; supplying tea or coffee or helping with catering at camps especially for the younger Beavers and Cubs.

Although the 3rd Sunday of the month is the normally meeting day, the programme does vary and meetings are arranged to suit. The location usually alternates between The 48th Fife (Dalgety Bay) and The 68th Fife (Inverkeithing). To check the date, time and location of the next meeting, see the District Diary.
