Do you have Scouting experience / knowledge that you want to help pass on to less experienced members within Rosyth District?
Are you enthusiastic about Scouting and would like to become involved in the welcome process for new volunteers?
We are looking for enthusiastic / experienced people to join the District Volunteering Development Team (DVDT) for Rosyth District.
Tasks for the role include.
- Attract and welcome new volunteers to District and Group Teams
- Attract and welcome existing volunteers to new District and Group Roles / Teams
- Help to make sure volunteers are well supported
Being a DVDT Member will be suited to you, if:
- You can answer questions, or point people in the right direction to finding the answers
- You are a great listener
- You are knowledgeable about our programme, how Scouts is run within Rosyth District, or even if you want to brush up on these areas and test your knowledge
- You enjoy supporting others
- You have great ideas and are happy to share how you do things
