Survival Skills @ Meggernie

This camp is a chance for Scouts to channel their inner Bear Grylls and learn all the skills they’ll need to look after themself in the outdoors, and do all of this with Scouts from all over Scotland.
The weekend is jam-packed full of skills building and fun. Young people can look forward to:
- Learning loads of new skills and gaining the Scout Survival Skills Activity Badge
- Spending one night in a shelter they’ll build themselves, and the other in a tent provided and built by Meggernie staff
- Cooking some of their own meals outdoors
Preferably each young person will have had 1 night under canvas already.
Costs and booking information
The camp will cost £53 per Scout. Scouts must be 12 years old at the start of the camp.
Booking is easy – simply fill out the application form below and send it to Judith.potter@scouts.scot.
A receipt and joining instructions including permission/medical form and kit list will then be sent out once payment has been received.
