Whilst at the top of Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe we took the opportunity to welcome our newest Explorer Scout, Luke Broadbent, to Merlin Explorer Scout Unit. Scouting takes you to new heights - literally to 3,463m in this case!
The middle of our Explorer Scout and Scout Network trip to Kandersteg International Scout Centre saw them make their way up the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, a 3,463m saddle situated between Mt. Jungfrau and Mt. Mönch.
Our Explorers and Network have safely arrived at Kandersteg International Scout Centre. They are amongst 1,229 Scouts from some 30. different nationalities. Their first full day started with flag break where one of ours was invited to raise the World Scouting flag. The day ends with International Night where everybody gets the chance to sample games, challenges, food and drink from across the countries represented.
